The Regal's took on UC Santa Cruz Saturday morning in their third game of the Pacific Coast tournament.
They fell to the Banana Slugs in three but were only a few points behind from winning a set themselves.
The Regals put up a total of 45 kills and senior Maci Haddad was responsible for 11 of those herself. Teammates Sadie Peete and Kennedy Crane were close behind with nine of their own. Morgan Given added to the offense with seven kills but they still fell short.
Julia Trento held down the back of the court putting up 20 digs and three assists. Peete added to the board with 18 digs.
The Regals will be back on the court next weekend at home to host their annual East to West Battle tournament.
