Kingsmen, Regals Soccer Programs Both Earn United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award; Only School in SCIAC to Garner Both

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — The 2020-21 California Lutheran University men's and women's soccer programs both excelled on the field, and in the classroom, to earn the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award.

Cal Lutheran was the only Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) institution to receive the award for both the men's and women's programs. The Kingsmen and Regals have continued to show that they are student-athletes and will always do their best on and off the field.

To qualify for the award, a team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) to be eligible. Both coaches are extremely proud of their team's work ethic, on and off the field.
