THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — It was Senior Day for Cal Lutheran women's water polo as they took down Occidental 12-7 on Saturday afternoon. 

The Regals honored and celebrated their graduating class of Kemi Dijkstra, Kaitlin Gardhouse, Bethany Metcalfe, Alexa Modry, and Taryn Sato. 

Cal Lutheran dominated from start to finish, with the seniors leading the way. Dijkstra scored four goals and Gardhouse and Metcalfe had three each. Jacsen Donohue and Paige Woodside both added one goal. 

The Regals moved the ball around well and there was an assist for every goal. Dijkstra totaled three assists and Metcalfe, Modry, and Izzy De Souza had two each. Gardhouse and Katie Knight put their team in good situations with three drawn ejections each. 

Izzy De Souza was in goal and got the win. On top of her two assists, she added nine saves and one steal. Metcalfe led the defense with two steals. 

The Regals jumped all over the Tigers and were up 3-1 after the first quarter and 6-2 at the half. They coasted the rest of the way and took the game. 

The Regals hit the road for two contests before coming home for the regular season finale. Cal Lutheran is at Redlands on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
