Regals Ready for SCIAC Tournament

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Cal Lutheran women's basketball is in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) tournament for the second consecutive year. 

The Regals are at the No. 4 seed and will play at No. 1 La Verne on Thursday night at 7 p.m. The other semifinal matchup is No. 3 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at No. 2 Redlands. The championship will be played Saturday at the lowest remaining seed. The time is still to be announced.

Anyone with an ID from a SCIAC institution will get free admission to every SCIAC Tournament game. Tickets can be purchased via Ticketleap for $8, or are $10 at the door. 

Sara Mills is 11th in the conference with 12.3 points per game and Janna Holley is right behind her with 12.2. Aliya DiMuro is tied for tied for fifth with 8.3 rebounds, Holley is second with 4.3 assister per game and Mills is seventh with 2.1 steals per game. 

As a team, the Regals force their opponents into 18.1 turnovers per game, the third-most in the conference. The Regals also only allows 61.16 points per game, the third-lowest.
