ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – This afternoon the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced the Week Four Athlete of the Week honorees and senior Cal Lutheran forward Kali Youngdahl was selected as the women's soccer AOW.

This week, Youngdahl guided the Regals to a 2-0 showing as the Violet and Gold remain undefeated in league action. In a win over SCIAC Preseason No. 1 Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday, Sept. 30, the Renton, Wash. native converted the only goal of the game to propel CLU to a 1-0 victory. Cal Lutheran also earned a 1-0 victory over La Verne earlier in the week. Overall, Youngdahl fired off nine shots, with four on goal, with the game-winner over the Sagehens in the pair of contests.

The forward has started all nine games during her final campaign and leads the Regals with five goals. Additionally, she is second on the squad with three assists. Her 13 points is second most overall in the SCIAC to date.

In week one on Sept. 11, senior Molly Holloway (women's volleyball) and senior Brandon Kearney (men's soccer) were selected for their respective sports. In week two on Sept. 18 Adam Friederichsen (football) was honored.
