LOS ANGELES — The Cal Lutheran women's soccer team recorded its seventh shutout of the season as the Regals tied Occidental 0-0 on Wednesday night.
The Regals are now 8-4-2 overall and 5-1-2 in SCIAC while Occidental is 2-4-3 and 0-3-5.
The Tigers controlled the game in the first half, recording five shots on goal, and holding the Regals to two.
In the second half, it was more of the same, as both defenses remained dominant. Logan Duford was in goal for the Regals and made five saves as she recorded the shutout.
The chances were sparse, as the Regals also had five chances on goal. Sam Cornejo, Savana Durr, Allie Lam, Jalynne Magana and Isabella Veljacic all put the ball between the pipes, but could not convert
