WHITTIER, Calif. – The Kingsmen returned to SCIAC play and took the 7-2 win against Whittier on the road.
The day started off with an 8-7 doubles win from Darvel Lossangoye and Ryan Murphy. Following them with an 8-5 win was Parker McBride and Aaron Moylan. Taking the third doubles match with ease was Jacob Bear and Griffin Biernat with an 8-1 win.
McBride sealed another singles win and fought back in three sets to take it 10-8 in the end. Biernat took a win in the three-spot 6-4 and 6-4.
Shawn Rothermel breezed through his singles match with a 6-1 and 6-3 win. Dominik Stefanov ended the match with 6-1 and 6-3 scores against his opponent.
The Purple and Gold are on the road tomorrow against No. 1 SCIAC opponent CMS.
