Kingsmen Take Three Matches Off Of Nationally Ranked No. 3 CMS

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – The Kingsmen hosted No. 3 in the nation CMS in Poulson Tennis Center but were unable to get the win. They took three matches off the Stags but ended the match with a 6-3 loss.

The Kingsmen started the morning with an impressive two wins in the first two doubles matches. Darvel Lossangoye and Ryan Murphy beat the one spot CMS doubles team 8-4. Parker McBride and Aaron Moylan followed up in the two-spot with an 8-5 win themselves.

Lossangoye dropped his first set to his CMS opponent but went on to win 6-4 and 7-6 in the second two sets. McBride in the two-spot pushed his match to three sets but outlasted in the end.

Lossangoye is ranked No. 10 in the West Region and will be looking at his national ranking after such a prestigious win today.

The Purple and Gold are back on the court on Friday on the road against Occidental at 3 pm.
