DAYTONA BEACH, Florida – Kingsmen tennis had one match today against the nationally ranked No. 5 team, Embry-Riddle. The Purple and Gold were swept.
Darvel Lossangoye and Ryan Murphy were the closest doubles team to a win but were outlasted 4-6. Griffin Biernat and Ben Vincze were bested 6-2 which was the same for Parker McBride and Shawn Rothermel.
All singles matches were finished in two sets in favor of Embry-Riddle. Lossangoye was the highest scoring singles player, losing 3-6 in both sets.
This match concludes the Purple and Gold's Florida debut. They return home and host Whitworth on Thursday at 2 pm in Poulson Tennis Center.
