Kingsmen Edge Out Panthers 5-4 On Senior Day

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – The Kingsmen hosted the Chapman Panthers for a close match on Senior Day in Poulson Tennis Center. The Purple and Gold edged out the Panthers 5-4.

Parker McBride and Aaron Moylan took their doubles match in the two-spot 8-5 to get the Kingsmen on the board. McBride also took his singles match winning set one 6-3 and set two 6-0.

Moylan continued his winning ways as well with two 6-2 set wins. Griffin Biernat was in the four spot and took his doubles match in two sets.

The match that clinched the win for the Kingsmen was Darvel Lossangoye in the one-spot for the singles. Lossangoye took the first set 6-4 and had a close second set but came out victorious 7-5.

The Kingsmen are ranked 36th in the nation with Chapman right behind them at 38.  

The Purple and Gold are on the road tomorrow for their last regular season match against Pomona-Pitzer at 10 am.
