Lewis Named Second Team All-SCIAC

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. Devon Lewis of Cal Lutheran men's basketball was named Second Team All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) which the conference announce Friday morning. 

It is the first All-SCIAC honor for Lewis, as he helped lead Kingsmen Basketball to a No. 4 seed and their second straight SCIAC Tournament appearance. 
 
Lewis (Pasadena, Calif.) was the high-scorer for the Kingsmen and averaged 13.8 points per game in conference play. The junior showed off his defensive prowess and led the conference with 40 steals. On top of the points, he averaged 3.6 rebounds per game, 2.9 assists and 2.5 steals. He scored double-digit points in 18 games, with a high of 24, which he did three times. He scored 20-plus points five times. He had a streak of seven games in which he scored double-digits and did so in the final four games of the regular season. He had a high of seven assists, nine rebounds and five steals. He shot 46.0-percent from the field, 28.6 from three-point range and 78.0 from the free throw line.  

The Kingsmen are in action tonight. Cal Lutheran will travel to Pomona-Pitzer for a SCIAC semifinal matchup.
