Kingsmen, No. 3 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Dual on Saturday

CLAREMONT, Calif. — The Cal Lutheran men's tennis team fought hard in their Saturday showdown against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, but it wasn't enough as the Stags took the dual 9-0.

The Stags took all three doubles matches. Parker McBride and Aaron Moylan were in the one spot but fell 8-5. At the No. 2, Darvel Lossangoye and Friedrich Ludwig were defeated 8-7 (7-3). The third spot was represented by Cade Haffner and Jacob de la Paz, but they fell 8-1. 

The Kingsmen put up a fight in the singles, but ultimately fell short. Lossangoye was bested 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 1, McBride fell 6-3, 6-3 at the No. 2, Moylan was defeated 6-1, 6-3 at the No. 3, de la Paz was beat 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 4, Haffner was outlasted 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 5, and Ludwig was bested 7-6, 6-4 at the No. 6. 

The Kingsmen are on the road on Wednesday. They take on Chapman at 1 p.m.
