HONOLULU, Hawaii — Cal Lutheran men's tennis continued its Hawaii trip with Division I University of Hawaii on Tuesday afternoon. The Rainbow Warriors defeated the Kingsmen 9-0.
The dual started with doubles play as Hawaii took all three spots. Parker McBride and Aaron Moylan fell 6-4 at the No.1, Cade Haffner and Jacob de la Paz were defeated 6-4 at the No. 2, and Friedrich Ludwig and Jake Anderson lost 6-2 at the No. 3.
The Rainbow Warriors carried that momentum over to singles play. McBride was defeated 6-4, 6-2 at the No. 1, Moylan fell 7-5, 6-0 at the No. 2, de la Paz lost 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 3, Haffner was defeated 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 4, Ludwig fell 6-3, 6-2 at the No. 5, and Shawn Rothermel fell 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 6.
The Kingsmen continue their Hawaii trip on Wednesday. Cal Lutheran is at Hawaii Pacific at 2 p.m.
