Lossangoye, de la Paz Team Up to Defeat Div. I UC San Diego in Doubles Play

LOS ANGELES, Calif. Darvel Lossangoye and Jacob de la Paz both represented Cal Lutheran men's tennis at the SoCal Intercollegiate Championships. The duo both played singles and then competed as a doubles team. The event was hosted by the University of Southern California. 

As a doubles team, Lossangoye and de la Paz made noise as they knocked off Division I opponent UC San Diego in the Round of 16. The Kingsmen won 8-5 and moved to the quarterfinal stage. The duo met the University of Portland and fell 8-4. 

Singles play started with a round of 64. Both Lossangoye and de la Paz took on top competition. Lossangoye fell to his  Concordia University of Irvine opponent 6-0, 6-2. de la Paz was against an opponent from the University of San Diego and was defeated 6-0, 6-0.

This was the final fall competition for the Kingsmen. They look forward to their spring season.
