Kingsmen Downed by Chapman on the Road

ORANGE, Calif. — Cal Lutheran men's tennis hit the road as they took on Chapman on Wednesday afternoon. The Panthers downed the Kingsmen and won the dual 7-2. 

The Kingsmen took one of the three doubles matches. Cade Haffner and Jacob de la Paz won their doubles match as they took the No. 3 spot with a s core of 8-6. Chapman won the other two as Parker McBride and Aaron Moylan fell 1-8 at the No. 1 and Darvel Lossangoye and Friedrich Ludwig fell 7-7 (3-7) at the No. 2. 

In singles play, Haffner had the lone win for the Kingsmen. He took the No. 5 spot with a score of 3-6, 6-3, 6-2. The Panthers took the other five matches and won the dual. McBride fell 1-6, 6-7 at the No.1, Lossangoya was defeated 2-6, 5-7 at the No. 2, Moylan lost 3-6, 6-4, 3-6 at the No. 3, de la Paz fell 2-6, 6-0, 3-6 at the No. 4, and Ludwig was defeated 3-6, 6-3, 1-6 at the No. 6.

The Kingsmen are back home on Friday. Cal Lutheran hosts Whittier at 3 p.m.
