Kingsmen Host No. 33 Babson

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Cal Lutheran men's tennis had their work cut out for them as they took on No. 33 Babson on Monday afternoon. Babson took the dual with a score of 7-2.

The Kingsmen won one of the three doubles matches as Parker McBride and Aaron Moylan won 8-3 at the No. 2. Darvel Lossangoye and Jacob de la Paz fell 8-4 at the No. 1 and Cade Haffner and Rainy Wei lost 8-2 at the No. 3. 

Babson continued to have success as they won five of the six singles matches and took the dual. The lone win in singles was Lossangoye at the No. 1 with a score of 6-4, 7-6. 

Cal Lutheran went the distance in two of the remaining singles matches. Moylan was defeated 6-2, 5-7, 9-11 at the No. 4 and Haffner fell 7-5, 2-6, 3-6 at the No. 6. McBride lost 4-6, 1-6 at the No. 2, de la Paz fell 3-6, 4-6 at the No. 3 and Wei was defeated 2-6, 2-6 at the No. 5. 

The Kingsmen remain at home and have a conference match on Friday. Cal Lutheran hosts Redlands on Friday at 3 p.m.
