LEXINGTON, Ky. — For the tenth consecutive year, Cal Lutheran women's volleyball landed on the list for the United State Marine Corps (USMC) and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award.
The 2019-20 Team Academic Award, named 1,313 teams, including 232 programs that received it for the first time. The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale or 4.10 on a 5.0 scale.
The Purple and Gold were one of four Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) school's to earn the award.
