Nybo, Rodarte Qualify for NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS — Andreas Nybo and Luke Rodarte are representing California Lutheran Univeristy men's swimming & diving at the NCAA Division III Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana next month. 

The championships will be held March 16-19 at the IUPUI IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Student-athletes qualified for the swimming portion of the championships by meeting the established minimum time for the events in which they entered. The complete list of all swimmers competing in the championships is available here.  

Nybo will compete in the 200-yard medley and the 100- and 200-yard butterfly. Rodarte is in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke and the 50-yard free. 

Nybo has the 15th-fastest time in the nation for the 200 fly and qualified with 1:48.48. 

Rodarte has the second-fastest time in the nation in the 100 breast with 52.98. He is just .19 tenths of a second behind the leader. In the 200 breast, he has the sixth-fastest time with 1:57.61. 

NCAA.com will video stream all sessions Wednesday through Saturday of the championships.
