Nybo Receives SCIAC Swimmer of the Week Honors

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – Andreas Nybo of Cal Lutheran men's swimming and diving received Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Swimmer of the Week recognition after his stellar performance at the Chris Knorr Invitational hosted at the Samuelson Aquatic Center.

Nybo (Portola Valley, Calif.) earned his first-place finish of the meet in the 200-yard medley relay as Miles Gaitan, Zane Booth and Nick Kenny helped the junior to an event victory with their time of 1:39.21.

The former Division III All-American then took first place in the 200-yard butterfly, his second first-place finish of the day.

Nybo grabbed his third event win in the 100-yard butterfly and later notched his fourth in the 200-yard IM, capping off an outstanding day at the pool.

Cal Lutheran's next competition will be Jan. 11 when they host Whittier at the Samuelson Aquatic Center for Senior Day.
