Kingsmen Record Three Top-10 times on Day Three of SCIAC Champs

MONTEREY PARK, Calif. — Cal Lutheran men's swimming and diving recorded three top-10 marks and moved up to seventh place on day two of the SCIAC Championships.

The Kingsmen are up to 93 points and will look to continue to climb in the standing over Friday and Saturday. 

Caelan Jack moved on the program's top-10 list for the 400-yard individual medley. He now sits fourth as he placed 13th in the B Final with a time of one minute and 54.98 seconds.

Joshua Nekoba bettered his top-10 time in the 50 freestyle. He was in the B Final and recorded a time of 21.21 and placed 11th.

Lincoln Hall competed in the 200 IM and in the prelims jumped into eighth place on Cal Lutheran's top-10 list. He recorded a time of 1:56.23. 

Cole Weiderman had the top finish on the night. He raced in the 500 free and touched the wall in eighth place with 4:34.94. 

The 200 free relay was the relay of the night. Nekoba, Nathan Sellers, Jack and Collin Spargur combined for the top time for the Kingsmen. The quartet placed fifth with: 1:24.03. 

Friday is day three and consists of the 400 individual medley, 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke and 400 medley relay.
