Kingsmen Start SCIAC Tournament at La Verne; Look to Repeat

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — No. 4 Cal Lutheran baseball is back in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Tournament and ready to defend their title. The Kingsmen's first game is Thursday at 3 pm at No. 1 La Verne.

The Kingsmen were the No. 4 seed a year, and also took the SCIAC Tournament Championship and the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The Kingsmen are making their third appearance in the SCIAC Tournament and have went nine of the 10 years since its inception. 

Chapman is the No. 3 seed and is at No. 2 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, also at 3 pm on Thursday. The winners will play each other on Friday at the higher seed and the losers will do the same. Saturday, and possibly Sunday, will be played at La Verne.

Tickets should be purchased ahead of time through Ticketleap. Spectators must confirm their purchase at the door for each game they are attending. Spectators must adhere to the host institution's spectator policies. General Admission is $10 including fees on Ticketleap, children under 12 and people with a SCIAC institution ID get in for free.
