Starting in the women's open doubles competition, the duo of Carolina Groff Hinojosa and Jade Moore kicked things off win an 8-4 win. The team would unfortunately be knocked out in the next round 8-1.

Lilijana Peters-Semak was selected to compete in the flight A singles bracket, but was defeated in the opening round 6-2; 6-3. The sophomore would rebound, however, taking the first-round consolation match 2-6; 6-0; 1-0(8).

In the flight B tournament, Sophia Gawrit began her 2019-20 campaign with a 6-1; 6-0 victory before falling in the next round.

Groff Hinojosa continued her winning ways with a win in the first round, working hard for a 6-3; 7-6(8) win before dropping her next match.

Nicole Alvarez started off hot with her 6-3; 6-1 win in the opening round and a 6-0; 6-2 victory in the round of 16. Alvarez extended her quarterfinal match to three sets, but would eventually see her run in the competition come to an end.

Freshman Jordan Buck advanced to the round of 16 due to a withdrawal from her opponent, but could not advance any further, taking a 6-4; 6-2 defeat in the second round.

JoAnn Taylor and Heidi Levanen each dropped their first match but would comeback to make impressive runs in the consolation brackets. The two Regals each won their semifinal matchups and will compete against each other in the flight B consolation final tomorrow on their home court.

Heading to flight C singles, Grace Maroscher earned a 7-5; 6-1 win to advance to the semifinal round. Kassandra Munsee would fall in her quarterfinal matchup but take the consolation match 6-1; 1-6; 11-9.
