Gaskill Earns Second Team All-SCIAC

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. Ally Gaskill was named Second Team All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) and represents Cal Lutheran as the 2019 women's golf awards were announced. The SCIAC released the awards Tuesday, following a vote by the league's head coaches.

This is the third straight Second Team All-SCIAC honor for the senior. She is also the first Regal to earn All-SCIAC three times.

Gaskill (Reno, Nev.) played in all nine events for the Regals and recorded an 81.4 scoring average over 19 rounds. She placed in the top-five twice, top 10 four times and top-20 six times.

Her best finish of the year was at Puget Sounds' Ladie's Invitational as she tied for third. She led the Regals to a second place finish, just one stroke back of the leader, as she finished at 13-over-par. Her second top-five mark was at CLU's Regals Invitational. She tied for fifth at 10-over-par as the Regals came in fourth. She then placed 10th twice, at the CA State Intercollegiate and the SCIAC #1.
