Regals Ready for SCIAC Championships

PASADENA, Calif. —The Cal Lutheran women's golf team is ready for the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships which will be held Thursday through Saturday at Brookside Golf Club.

The champion of the SCIAC is determined by three tournaments, the SCIAC No. 1, SCIAC No. 2 and the SCIAC Championships. The championships will have live scoring for each round. You can also find the rosters and standings on the Tournament Central.

The Regals are in fourth-place heading into the Championships after impressive showings at the SCIAC No. 1 and No. 2. Cal Lutheran shot 652 strokes at the No. 1. They improved at the No. 2 and finished with 623 for a total of 1,275 strokes. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps is the leader heading in with 1,214 strokes, Redlands is second with 1,230 while Pomona-Pitzer sits third with 1,260.

Individually, Lauren FeslerAlly Gaskill, Brooke Logsdon, Erica Mitchell and Hannah Pasco have led the Regals. Mitchell tied for 10th at the SCIAC No. 2 and finished at 8-over-par (78-74-152). Logsdon (79-76-155) and Gaskill (78-79-157) made three Regals in the top-20 as they finished tied for 14th and 19th, respectively.

At the SCIAC No. 1, Gaskill turned in the top performance and tied for 10that 16-over-par (82-78-160). Pasco was next and toed for 14th at 18-over-par (84-78-162) while Fesler tied for 20th at 21-over-par (84-81-165).
