THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — The 2019 Cal Lutheran women's golf schedule has the Regals hosting two tournaments, competing all over California and ending up in Pasadena for the third and final part of the SCIAC Championship.

"Our women's golf spring schedule is set and we are looking forward to a great season," said head coach Jeff Lindgren. "It will prepare us for a fun, but tough spring, as we ballte for a SCIAC Championship."

The Regals get the season started on Feb. 4-5, and will be in San Diego, Calif., for the Point Loma Invitational. The tournament will be held at the Rancho Bernardo C.C. CLU then gets its first taste of SCIAC competition on Feb. 16-17, as the Violet and Gold are at the Los Serranos G.C. in Chino Hills, Calif.

"We have played in the Point Loma Invitational many years, but not at this course," said Lindgren. "We are excited to play the new course this year at Rancho Bernardo. We will then be playing in the Cal State East Bay tournament for the first time at Corica Park in Alameda, Calif., March 4-5. We look forward to playing some different competition."

The Regals will take on Division II and NAIA competition on top of the Division III opponents at the CSU East Bay Invite.

After being away for the first part of the season, the Regals return home and host the CLU Regals Invitational, March 11-12, in Thousand Oaks, Calif., at the Sunset Hills Country Club.

Cal Lutheran hits the road, again, over spring break and will play in the Redlands Invitational on March 25-26 at the Indian Spring G.C. in Palm Springs, Calif.

The final two scheduled tournaments for the Regals are the second and third parts of the SCIAC Championship. Cal Lutheran will host the second SCIAC meet, the third and fourth rounds, April 6-7 in Ventura, Calif., at the Olivas Links G.C. The final three rounds will be played April 18-20, in Pasadena, Calif., at the Brookside G.C.

"We will be hosting our sixth annual CLU Regals Invitational and one of the three SCIAC Championship meets," said Lindgren. "We look forward to being able to host the tournaments and are ready for the competition that is coming to play us."

The 2019 season comes to an end with NCAA Championship being held on May 14-17 in Houston, Texas.
