REDLANDS, Calif. — The California Lutheran University men's golf team was at the Bulldog Fall Invitational for their second tournament of the fall. The tournament had two rounds on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday. The event featured 11 teams and 64 individuals.  

The Kingsmen finished sixth at 42-over-par. They shot a 302 over the first 18 and improved with a 288 during the next 18. On the last 18, the Purple and Gold recorded 292 strokes to finish with a three-round total of 882, .

Junior JP Guimaraes Jr. had the best finish for the Kingsmen and placed 13^th at 5-over-par. With the Par of the course being 70, Guimaraes Jr. fired a 73 for the first and second rounds. He recorded a 69 over the final 18 holes to give him a total of 215 strokes. Guimaraes Jr. led the team eight birdies. 

Freshman Hudson Solters was a close second and tied for 16^th at 8-over-par. He had the lowest round of any Kingsmen as he tallied a 68 in the second round. He shot a 75 in the first and third and finished with 218 strokes. Solters tied for the most Pars at the tournament with 38. 

Also competing for the Kingsmen was freshman Jot Singh, junior Derek Hahn, freshman Blake Fitzhugh and freshman William Moser. 

Singh stayed consistent during his tournament. He shot a 75, 75 and 74 as he finished at 14-over-par and tied for 37^thplace. Singh had the second most birdies on the team with seven. 

Hahn and Fitzhugh tied for 45^th at 16-over-par with 226 strokes. Hahn recorded a 79, 72 and 75, while Fitzhugh carded a 75, 74 and 77. Hahn tied for the second most birdies on the team with seven. 

Moser improved each day for the Kingsmen. He started the invite with a 79, and turned things around to shoot a 75 and 74. He was 18-over-par to place 49^th.

The Kingsmen have one final tournament during the fall. Cal Lutheran will head to the LeTourneau Intercollegiate in Gladewater, Texas on Oct. 4-5.
