ALISO VIEJO, Calif. — JP Guimaraes Jr. was named to the 2022 All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) men's golf team the conference announced Tuesday morning following a vote conducted by the league's member head coaches.
Guimaraes Jr. (San Ramon, Calif.) represents California Lutheran University on the Second Team. It is the first All-SCIAC honor of his career.
Playing in all seven rounds on conference, Guimaraes Jr. led the team with a stroke average of 76.86. He had a low round of 1-under-par 71 in the first round of the SCIAC #2. He also recorded a 73 and 74 in conference play. He tied for 33rd at SCIAC #1, placed fifth at SCIAC #2 and tied for 26th at the SCIAC Championships.
