Cal Lutheran Closed

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - California Lutheran University is closed today, Friday, November 9, because of the fires in the region.

At this point, the Thousand Oaks campus is not in a mandatory or voluntary evacuation zone, but we are on standby in case the situation changes. We are closely monitoring the situation and making preparations in case an evacuation order is given. For Cal Lutheran community members in evacuation zones, we keep you in our prayers and hope that you can return to your homes as soon as it is safe to do so. During this difficult time, we want to remind people that if you are away from campus you should always follow the directions of emergency personnel. For updates, please check vcemergency.com.

For on-campus residents, your safety is our primary concern and we will be in continuing communication. Food service will be available at Ullman Commons as usual, starting at 7:30 AM.
