A 1-0-1 week for the women's soccer team punched a playoff ticket for the Regals behind a goal and an assist from Bianca Deardorff. In the 7th minute against Pomona-Pitzer, she fielded a through ball and fired a shot to the right corner of the net for the first goal of the game and a 1-0 lead. Though PP would knot things up, the teams played to a draw behind a five shot game from the junior forward. On Saturday afternoon at Whittier Deardorff supplied an assist on an insurance goal late in the second half as CLU earned a 2-0 shutout to remain in second place in the SCIAC standings. Overall, she took seven shots with three on goal for a .429 shot on goal percentage during the week.
