A 3-0 week for the Cal Lutheran women's soccer team was sparked by a pair of game-winning goals from freshman Bri Pinal. The week started witha 1-0 victory over UC Santa Cruz in which she was instrumental in generating scoring opportunities as a forward. On Wednesday, in a SCIAC shutout of La Verne, Pinal scored her first collegiate goal, which was the ultimate winning goal in the 5th minute when she punched the ball into the back of the cage off a cross. Saturday afternoon at Redlands the Vista, Calif. native fired off a laser that whizzed past the Redlands goalie for the second goal of the game at the 16:04 mark to propel the Regals to their seventh straight win as CLU improved to 8-0-1 over their last nine games.
