Allie Eason was instrumental in the Regals going 3-1 against four nationally ranked Top-25 opponents at the 2014 Cal Lu Fornia Invitational this weekend. The junior contributed with 59 kills, 52 digs, 11 service aces and a solo block with three block assists. CLU tore past No. T-23 Mary Hardin-Baylor, behind 22 kills from Eason, and No. 18 Pacific Lutheran by 3-0 margins and No. 14 Trinity (Tex.) 3-1 while falling to No. 6 Emory. Eason had her strongest match of at the end of the weekend, recording 19 digs, 15 kills and six aces against Trinity on Saturday evening. To date this season Eason has five double-doubles and is a menace at the service line with 18 aces as CLU is currently 7-1.
