Cal Lutheran Track & Field Teams Earn All-Academic Team Award

NEW ORLEANS — In the classroom, on the track and on the field. The Cal Lutheran men's and women's track & field teams earned 2021 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Academic Awards. 

The USTFCCCA annually recognizes teams with a 3.1 GPA or better on its annual All-Academic list. In total, 150 men's teams made the academic cut while 209 women's teams were recognized. 

The women's squad combined for a 3.82 grade-point average (GPA) while the men recorded a 3.26. The teams stood out in all phases of the student-athlete experience during the 2020 track & field seasons.
