THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Cal Lutheran women's lacrosse hosted Claremont-Mudd-Scripps for a doubleheader on Monday night.
The first game was a continuation of the suspended game on March 23. It picked up with 14:34 to go in the second quarter. Due to the doubleheader, the game was finished after three quarters. The Regals were defeated 19-1. The lone goal came from Sydney Shin. She scored off a free position shot.
Bella Bravo was in goal and made four saves. She added a team-high three ground balls. Meghan Angus had two draw controls and Kaitlyn Gill matched her with one caused turnover.
The second game was a makeup from a cancelled game earlier in the year. Due to the game being cancelled, CMS got the conference win, and this game was played as a non-conference contest.
Angus and Kendall Fleming scored a goal, but the Regals lost to the Athenas 23-2. Bravo continued the night with seven saves and three ground balls. Four Regals had one draw control and three had a caused turnover.
The Regals are back in action on Wednesday for Senior Night. Cal Lutheran hosts Redlands at 7 p.m.
