FOREST GROVE, Ore. Giselle Bonilla score four goals, but a first half deficit was too much to overcome as Cal Lutheran women's lacrosse fell to Pacific (Ore.) 13-6 on Sunday afternoon.

The Boxers had the Regals number in the first, on offense and defense. Pacific scored 10 goals and shut out the Regals.

Cal Lutheran broke through in the second half, outscoring Pacific 4-2, and trailed 12-4 heading to the fourth. The Regals continued playing strong, but could not erase the deficit.

Bonilla led the way and Meghan Angus and Carmen Martinez both added a goal. The Regals had two assists on their goals as Sydney Shin and Kendall Fleming had one each.

Leila Bauwens was big, defensively, and picked up six ground balls. Bella Bravo and Emily Schumacher were next with three each. Shin recorded a team-high four draw controls and Angus was next with two.

Bravo was in goal for the Regals. The defense helped slow down the Boxers and only allowed 20 shots. Bravo tallied seven saves, but took the loss.

The Regals continue the season in Oregon. Cal Lutheran is at Willamette on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
