MOORPARK, Calif. — California Lutheran University women's golf won their very own CLU Regals Invitational which was held at Moorpark Country Club on Monday and Tuesday. 

The Regals won the tournament by 14 strokes and finished at 78-over-par. They shot 324 on Monday and followed it up with 330 on Tuesday for a total of 654 strokes.

Ashley Zook, Claire Cornejo and Jett Legacion led the Regals as the trio all finished in the top-10. The tournament consisted of nine teams and 46 individuals. 

Zook tied for fifth as she finished at 16-over-par with 160 strokes. She shot a 6-over-par 78 on Monday and had an 82 on Tuesday. 

C. Cornejo was next and tied for seventh at 17-over-par. She had an 80 on day one and an 82 on day two for a total of 161 strokes. Legacion was right behind her and in ninth. She shot an 82 each day to finish at 20-over-par with 164 strokes. 

Also competing for the Regals was Haley Brown in 12^th (89-78-167), Tara Ng in a tie for 14^th (84-85-169), Anna Bello in a tied for 22^nd (87-88-175), Grace Mitchell in 26^th (87-93-180) and Grace Cornejo who withdrew in the second round. 

The Regals continue their season at the Redlands Invitational March 26-27 at The S Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
