THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Claire Cornejo tied for second as California Lutheran University women's golf took on the University of Redlands in a dual on Sunday afternoon.
The Regals and Bulldogs were supposed to play 18 holes on Saturday, Feb. 12, and Sunday, but due to darkness, the first round had to end early and was counted. The dual came down to just 18 holes on Sunday, Feb. 13.
C. Cornejo led the way for the Regals and tied for second at 4-over-par (76), just three strokes behind the winner.
Jett Lagacion was the second Regal in the top-five and tied for fourth at 76. Grace Cornejo and Tara Ng tied for ninth as the due shot 10-over-par.
Haley Brown was 12th (+16), Anna Bello was 13th (+18) and Grace Mitchell was 14th (+25).
The Regals have conference up next on their schedule. Cal Lutheran and La Verne are host to the SCIAC #1 on Feb. 26 and 17 at Oliva Links Golf Course in Ventura, Calif.
