Cox Headed to NCAA Championships; Competing in 400-Meter Hurdles

INDIANAPOLIS — Cal Lutheran's Evan Cox qualified to compete in the 2021 NCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships which was announced by the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Track & Field Committee. The championships will be held May 27-29 at the Irwin Belk Track in Greensboro, North Carolina. 

Cox will compete in the 400-meter hurdles. He qualified with an entry time of 53.25 seconds and is seeded 10th. The junior will run in the prelims on Thursday at 1:40 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. The finals are on Saturday at 11:25 a.m. PST.

For each men's individual event contested, including the decathlon, the top 17 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition.
