2021-22
All-SCIAC in the 200 and 400 medley relays… At the SCIAC Championships, was sixth in the 100 back with 52.04, seventh in the 200 IM with 1:52.31, and 11th in the 200 back with 1:52.94… Competed in 10 meets… Personal bests were 22.52 in the 50 free, 52.04 in the 100 back, 1:52.94 in the 200 back, 1:03.72 in the 100 breast, and 1:52.31 in the 200 IM.

2020-21
Competed in four events for the Kingsmen… Top marks were: 50 back (24.67), 100 back (51.43), 200 back (1:56.39), and 50 fly (24.57)… Won five events... Inducted into the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society.

2019-20
Competed in all nine events for the Kingsmen...Posted three season-best times at the SCIAC Championships in the 50-yard back, 100-yard back and 200-yard IM...Earned a first-place finish in the 100-yard back at the La Verne/Pomona-Pitzer tri meet...Grabbed two more victories in the 100-yard and 200-yard back at the Caltech dual meet...Logged a season best time of 1:54.73 in the 200-yard back at the SCIAC Championships...Inducted into the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society for the first time.

2018-19
Competed in ten events as a freshman for the Kingsman…notched two of his best times at SCIAC Championship: 1:54.70 in the 200-back and 3:07.86 in the 400-free relay… he also notched four of his best times at two different meets… 2:03.20 in the 200-individual medley, 56.57 in the 100-individual medley at Malibu Invitational and scored a 54.04 in the 100-back, 1:33.03 in the 200-medley relay at Occidental… Additionally achieved four more bests at different meets… 25.48 in the 50-back at Cal Lutheran Sprint Meet, 1:55.81 in the 200-free at Banana Slug Invitational, 3:21.15 in the 400-medley relay at Chris Knorr Invitational, 55.19 in the 100-fly at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps/La Verne

From Santa Barbara, California… Parents are Michelle and Greg Gaitan… Has two siblings: Gavin and LuLu…Competed with Santa Barbara Swim Club… Chose Cal Lutheran because of the atmosphere, sports, and people… Says his greatest personal sports memory is winning.
