THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — California Lutheran University women's swimming had an impressive showing at the 2022 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships as the Regals totaled 14 new entries into the program's top-10 list. 

Alice Peterson competed in her first SCAIC Championships and broke Cal Lutheran's record in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of two minutes and 6.82 seconds. The top time had been previously held by NCAA national qualifier Mardell Ramirez, which she set in 2017. 

Peterson had four more events in which she bested her time or moved up on the list. Peterson sits second in the 200-yard freestyle with 1:53.60 and the 100-yard backstroke with 59.65. She is also fifth in the 50 free (24.77) and the 1650 free (17:40.14). 

Kendall Moffitt also competed at her first SCIAC Championships. She had the second-fastest time in program history in the 1650 free with 17:40.14 and sits third in the 500 free with 5:09.34. She made it four top-five times and is fourth in the 200-yard butterfly (2:10.76) and the 400-yard individual medley (4:41.33). She added one more top-10 time and is 10^th in the 50 free with 25.20. 

Aubrey Blickman was the third Regal to crack into the program's top-10 list at the championships. Her time of 1:07.53 in the 100-yard breaststroke was good for fifth all-time. This was a three-second drop off from her previous best. 

The Regals look to build off these accomplishments as they turn towards next season. Below is a list of top-10 times that were set.
