Bullard Hits Homerun in Fourth Straight Game; Kingsmen Start Series with Chapman

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. Zach Bullard hit a homerun for the fourth straight game as Cal Lutheran Baseball began their last series of the regular season against Chapman on Friday.

It was Bullard's fifth homerun in four games, but it was the Panthers that came out on top with a final score of 11-2.

The game remained close until the eighth inning. With Chapman up 4-1 in the top of the eighth, the Panthers scored six runs to bust the game wide open. 

Alexander Rivas got the start on the hill for the Kingsmen. He went seven innings with 12 hits, six runs, five earned runs, and three walks. Gregory Pimentel, Tyler Hazlett and John Frazier also saw time on the mound. 

The Kingsmen's two runs came off the homerun from Bullard and a balk which brought in Sean Blandino. The Purple and Gold had their chances for more, but left 10 runners on base. 

Cal Lutheran ends the regular season tomorrow at Chapman. The doubleheader starts at 11 a.m.
