2019 (Water Polo)
The senior competed in 27 games, starting in seven at the attacker position… he tallied 39 goals, finishing second on the team… scored a season-high four goals vs Caltech (Oct. 2) and vs La Verne (Nov. 2)... he finished the season with 19 assists, 29 steals (third on the team), five drawn ejections, and a team-high 22 field blocks… in the CLU record books for a career, Lundgren is ranked ninth for steals with 129... Inducted into the Scholar-Athlete Society for the second time.
2018 (Water Polo)
The Kingsmen tallied the most wins (16) for a season in program history… in his junior season, he started 26 games as an attacker… he led the team in goals with 50 which was the sixth-most in the SCIAC… he had the second-most steals on the team and was fourth in the SCIAC with 49. It tied for the ninth-most steals in program history… had season-highs of five goals against Occidental (Oct. 3) and four steals versus Caltech (Oct. 20)… for the season, he added 15 assists, 14 drawn ejections and 14 field blocks...inducted into the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society for the first time.
2017 (Water Polo)
Lundgren received an All-Academic Award for his outstanding achievement in the classroom, which earned him a spot on the Excellent award list (3.40-3.20)…appeared in 23 of 25 games with 1 start for the Kingsmen…as a sophomore he scored 18 goals and had 15 assists…he drew 11 ejections and had 27 steals to end the season… along with 2 field blocks.
2016 (Water Polo)
Made his debut for the Kingsmen against the Air Force Academy (Sept. 3)… started in three out of the 26 games he appeared in as a freshman… netted his first career goal against UC San Diego (Sept. 15)… tallied up eight goals 15 assists, 24 steals, four drawn ejections, and two field blocks...most vast memory of CLU athletics is going on an East coast trip with the water polo team.
Lyons Township High School
Graduated from Lyons Township HS in 2016…earned three varsity water polo letters and two varsity letters for swimming…named to first team all-state in 2015 and 2016…was the team leader in goals in 2015 and 2016…also led the team in assists and steals in 2016…named team MVP in 2016…named school newspaper athlete of the year…credits his greatest personal sports achievement to winning the Water Polo State Championship in 2015.
