SANTA CLARITA, Calif.  — The California Lutheran University Women's cross country team competed in The Masters University Cross Country Invitational on Saturday morning. It was the third meet of the season for the Regals.

Results

The Regals competed in the Women's Open and finished in 3^rd place as a team.

Freshman Samira Negrete (6^th 19:57.6), senior Veronica Redpath (15^th 21:06.9) and freshman Cora Hautekeete (20^th 21:20.8) all finished in the top 20 competitors.

Also competing for Cal Lutheran were freshman Carly Jaeger (57^th 25:58.9) who made her collegiate debut and sophomore Jasmine Rico (68^th 31:15.4).

The Regal's next race will be September 9^th in Claremont, Calif. for the Pamona-Pitzer Invitational.
