SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — The California Lutheran University Women's cross country team competed in The Masters University Cross Country Invitational on Saturday morning. It was the third meet of the season for the Regals.
The Regals competed in the Women's Open and finished in 3rd place as a team.
Freshman Samira Negrete (6th 19:57.6), senior Veronica Redpath (15th 21:06.9) and freshman Cora Hautekeete (20th 21:20.8) all finished in the top 20 competitors.
Also competing for Cal Lutheran were freshman Carly Jaeger (57th 25:58.9) who made her collegiate debut and sophomore Jasmine Rico (68th 31:15.4).
The Regal's next race will be September 9th in Claremont, Calif. for the Pamona-Pitzer Invitational.
