Sawyer Clinches 21st At SCIAC Championships

POMONA, Calif – The Kingsmen cross country team headed to Pomona to race in the SCIAC Championship meet.

Sophomore Sebastian Sawyer broke Cal Lutheran's course record which he set himself three weeks ago. He came in with a time of 25:34.6, placing 21st overall.

Jonathan Aguilar set his personal best today with a time of 27:52 flat.

Rounding up the finishes for Cal Lutheran, Nicholas Abbinanti came in with a time of 28:14.9 and Luke VanKeersblick was just behind him at 28:52.7.

Logan Bury came in at 29:27.1, Moises Velasquez recorded a time of 31:18.8 and Xavier Reynoso finished at 35:15.3.
