Negrete Crushes CLU PR at the Mark Covert Classic

The Regals cross country team traveled to Brea for their first meet of the year.

Freshman Samira Negrete placed 72nd in this year's Mark Cover Classic. This was Negrete's college debut and she rose to the challenge. She beat Cal Lutheran's Mark Covert Classic best time by 50 seconds. She posted a time of 20:23:3 in the 5K.

Sophomore Brooke Hougo was the second Regal to cross the finish line as she placed 135th.
