Kingsmen Water Polo Alumnus Asante Sefa-Boakye Founded Ghana Water Polo

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Cal Lutheran Men's Water Polo alumnus Asante Sefa-Boakye was recently featured in our "Where Are They Now" series. And now, he needs your help!

He is the founder of Ghana'a first water polo team. As he continues to build water polo, you can help by giving to his GoFundMe page.

"Through independent ambition, support & finance, we have seen the progress of #GhanaWaterPolo reach top speed in becoming a globally recognized entity," Safe-Boakye said. "However, there is nothing lasting on this Earth done without collective community support. Humbly, I am asking for donations to further solidify this vision into becoming a lasting one for generations to come.

"GH Water Polo will serve as a catalyst to promote an education in water safety, inspire an admiration of aquatics across the diaspora, & encourage an everlasting bond of comradery through sport that can only be done through athletics."

Safe-Boakye and Ghana Water Polo has progressed with training and education for athletes. And Recently, the first cage was made.
