2019-20 (Tennis)
Played 14 singles matches in his senior year… went 7-14 in singles matches… played in 13 doubles matches, winning eight of them… had five doubles wins with Volk as his partner… won a doubles match at the West ITA Regional Small Conference Championships 8-1 versus UC Santa Cruz (Oct. 4)… Haffner contributed in a doubles sweep with Ariza winning 8-2 versus Schreiner (Feb. 23)… was the number one singles player versus UMHB (Feb. 22)... inducted into the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society for the third time. 

2018-19 (Tennis)
Competed in 23 singles matches and 20 doubles matches as junior for the Kingsmen… Went 13-10 overall in singles, 3-6 in conference play and 7-4 at home… Went on a five-match win streak from March 20-24… Finished 16-4 in doubles play, the most wins by any CLU player in doubles this season, and 8-4 in conference matchups… Went 7-1 at home and 12-4 against regional opponents… Went on a 12-match win streak starting against Westmont on February 12 through Chapman on April 19... inducted into the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society for the second time. 

Franciscan University of Steubenville
Played two seasons for the Barons… Named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Year in 2018… On the Dean’s list for fall of 2017.

Personal
From Benton City, Washington… Parents are Dorothy and Russell Haffner… Has one brother, Cade… Father played football at Eastern Washington University and mother was on the dance team at Florida State University… Names beating the number one seeds in the fall ITA with his doubles partner, Lucas Tilly, as his greatest personal sports memory… Chose Cal Lutheran for “the exciting entrepreneurial opportunities, strong business school, and great tennis program.”
