Kingsmen Downed by Occidental

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Cal Lutheran men's tennis was downed by Occidental 6-3 on Tuesday afternoon. 

The Kingsmen took one of the three doubles matches. Darvel Lossangoye and Friedrich Ludwig won 7-7 (7-5) at the No. 2 spot. The Tigers took a 2-1 lead as Parker McBride and Aaron Moylan fell 5-8 at the No. 1, while Cade Haffner and Jacob de la Paz were defeated 6-8 at the No. 3. 

Cal Lutheran took two singles matches. Lossangoye was victorious 7-5, 6-3 at the No. 2 and Haffner won 2-6, 7-6 (7-0), 7-5 at the No. 5. The Tigers won the rest and took the dual as McBride fell 7-6 (6), 4-6, 5-10 at the No. 1, Moylan was defeated 4-6, 2-6 at the No. 3, de la Paz lost 3-6, 4-6 at the No. 4 and Nick Griffin fell 2-6, 1-6 at the No. 6. 

The Kingsmen have one final dual remaining. Senior Day is Saturday at 3 p.m. versus Colorado College.
