THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – The Cal Lutheran women's swimming and diving team competed hard against a strong Redlands team on Saturday at home. The Bulldogs finished on top with a final score of 153-43.

The Purple and Gold had one champion on the day with freshman Alice Peterson's time in the 200-yard freestyle with two minutes and 0.03 seconds. Peterson was also just one one-hundredth away from winning the 100-yard backstroke as she contributed points for the women.

Sophomore Eve Miyagishima swam hard in the 1000-yard freestyle knocking almost 5 seconds off of her time from the last meet.

Sophomore Kyrie Fairbairn just missed the mark for first place in the 100-yard freestyle but added points to women's final score of the day.

Miyagishima also added points for the Regals in the 500-yard freestyle event.

The Regals look forward to getting back in the water at Redlands on April 10.
