IRVINE, Calif. — The Cal Lutheran women's swimmign and diving team is back in the water, but had a tough test as they took on Concordia University Irvine of Division II on Saturday at University High School. The Eagles won the dual 180 to 68.
The Purple and Gold had two champions on the day. Sophomore Eve Miyagishima claimed the 1,000-yard freestyle with 12 minutes and 8.53 seconds and freshman Alice Peterson won the 200-yard free with 1:59.93
The freshman continued to impress in her first collegiate meet. Peterson broke into the CLU record book and is tied for sixth in the 100 backstroke with 1:02.19.
Also competing for the first time in their collegiate career was Nektaria Anagnostou.
