Why did you choose Cal Lutheran?
"I chose Cal Lutheran because of their strong biology and languages department. The new Swenson Science building had just been opened and I became very excited to take my classes in a newly renovated building with all of the latest technology. Finally, coming from Illinois, the weather of Southern California sounded a lot better than the Midwest."

What is your major/minor and what are you excited about it?
"I am a double major in biology and Spanish. What excites me most is being able to do more research on the public health side of healthcare and seeing first hand how much inequality still plays a role in our society. I love learning about new cultures and become more open minded to all the different perspectives of the world. I want to someday be able to provide the best healthcare to my patients."

Favorite academic memory at Cal Lutheran?
"My favorite academic memory is our final presentations in my religion class. It was so cool to see how close we had all gotten over the semester that we were all able to share very vulnerable stories about our selves."

Favorite athletic memory at Cal Lutheran?
"My most recent favorite memory at Cal Lutheran is our win over Westmont College. It had been several years since the last time we had won over their program, so to have that clinch win of 4-3 was amazing and it showed that our hard work on the courts was paying off."
